Surgical breast enhancement using implants or fat transfer to increase volume, improve shape, and restore lost fullness.
Breast augmentation at Kaya is performed using either silicone implants (the international standard for safety and aesthetics) or fat transfer (using liposuctioned fat from another body area). Implant selection — size, profile, shape — is guided by a detailed consultation taking into account your body proportions, tissue characteristics, and aesthetic goals. All implants used are CE-marked or FDA-approved. Incision placement is discussed and chosen to minimise visible scarring.
Under general anaesthesia, a pocket is created either behind the breast tissue (subglandular) or behind the pectoral muscle (submuscular — the most common approach for long-term results). The implant is placed within the pocket via an inframammary incision (most common), periareolar, or transaxillary approach. For fat transfer, liposuction fat is processed and injected in multiple layers.
Return to desk work at 5–7 days. No lifting above shoulder height for 4 weeks. Supportive bra worn continuously for 6 weeks. Full recovery at 6 weeks. Implants settle into final position over 3–6 months.
